The project looks at novel biometric modalities in wristband form factor. The tasks are to design a wrist wearable ultra-low cost diffuse optical tomography system that can authenticate users. Additionally, the DoT system should be augmented by vascular imaging system worn on wrist to augment in the authentication process. This research is in collaboration with Dr. Reza Derakhshani’s group in UMKC.
